I began Peter Downs & Associates in 1998 with a specific focus on helping small businesses boost sales growth and profitability – an enduring challenge for any business, but especially those with limited internal marketing resources, and a reluctance to commit precious cash to promotional activities that may never deliver.
Over the years, I have worked with many different businesses and organisations as a marketing strategist and copywriter, helping them to achieve their marketing objectives.
As a copywriter, I have written sales boosting copy for web, print, and electronic media.
I also have many years experience in writing operational documentation, tender submissions, training material, presentations, speeches, and just about anything that involves business and words.
With a solid management career in marketing, operations and administration, I know what makes businesses tick, how to maximize operational performance, and what it takes to generate and manage profitable sales growth.
I also have the marketing communications skills to create sales copy that influences and sells, really sells. I don’t just deliver professionally written copy. I create content that is creative, strategic and influences buyer behaviour.
